Rustic Toscana Food Tour
is a tailored made experience to make you have contact with locals, genuine products, home locations, day trips to small cities like Volterra, San Gimignano, Lucca, Siena and local villages like Querceto, Montecatini and Castelnuovo Val di Cecina.
You will stay in a historical village called Montegemoli which is located right in the middle of Val di Cecina natural reserve, in an original Etruscan house. The bucolic Tuscan landscapes can be admired all around, with sunrises and sunsets to take your breath away.
So much to do and see!
Pizza, pasta and pasticceria workshops available to choose, wine tasting with enologist upon request, gelato tasting, picnic under the olive trees, local Osterias to try and many more.
Your day starts with a superb homemade breakfast and depending on the activity workshops or trips will take place.
How did Rustic Toscana come to life
Out of many daily experiences of my living in the countryside, getting to meet the locals, cooking with them, eating local products, visiting the close surroundings little villages and small cities, “paese” as Italians call it. I started getting requests from my Airbnb guest with suggestions, sometimes even to take them around for the day. What more a foodie like me could ask for? Good food, incredible sceneries, fun and the chance to get to know wonderful people too.
So after testing some itineraries I’ve created a couple of fall editions, a “create your own” and soon spring dates shall come as well.
Itineraries, calendar and how to book are available by clicking on the tour of your choice. If you have something more specific just “Get in touch” and I’ll be more than happy to answer your questions.
